Mostly, we had Mads Mikkelsen as the new Gellert Grindelwald. This is a magical return to Hogwarts in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, where the two most powerful wizards of their time are involved in a covert fight for control over the Ministry of Magic. Deception makes both assemble followers out of the blue, who they are forced to play with like cats and mice in this game while being loyal to them. Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) takes on an important role. Nevertheless, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) will feature prominently in this film to everyone’s delight among Harry Potter fans since he is its main character. It caters for their keenest Wizarding World admirers by revealing his family secrets and previous indiscretions.

The stakes for Gellert Grindelwald are raised higher by this birth of a significant magical creature that occurred during the late thirties. All around, wizards will soon make up their minds on whom they want as the next Minister of Magic. Being a sworn enemy to the Ministry and outlawed, Grindelwald sends his maltreated lieutenant Credence Barebone (Ezra Miller) out into the field instead of him doing it himself. As violence could never break between them, neither Dumbledore nor Grindelwald can raise wands against each other but were youthful lovers bound together by a magic blood pact.

Dumbledore gathers an extraordinary team to overcome such great odds. Far worse still, Grindelwald now has an ability to see forthcoming events that count relevantly towards defeating Dumbledore certainly and thoroughly very well if nothing else at all is mentioned here about how correctly because he can preclude any such attack on him from taking place at all whatsoever anymore shortly after these acts have been committed by anyone else anywhere within those circumstances while these plans remain both separate missions for each person’s first step into Dumbledore’s Army where there is no chance of any one person knowing what the others are doing. Newt takes on his brother Theseus (Callum Turner) and an old friend at Dumbledore’s request. Professor Hicks (Jessica Williams), a defence against the dark arts professor from Hogwarts, is sent to bring back Muggle Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler). Whose heart still aches for his beloved Queenie Goldstein (Allison Sudol), a frightened but important tool for Grindelwald. The vote for the future draws nearer in the Bhutan mountains as wands clash and past sins are laid bare.

To say there is a lot happening here is an understatement. There is much more to it than that in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, which has such an intricate plot. In effect, these supporting characters are little more than chess pieces in a tactical battle between Dumbledore and Grindelwald. Besides, their subplots are crucial to climaxing in this fight with each other scene designations differentiating them from other people ultimately leading towards something else altogether as mentioned earlier by utilizing proper character arcs attributed respectively due time taken up going over certain moments when plot holes or points fell out upon reading through draft versions before finally reaching completion phase three during next few weeks’ intervals even though nothing new was added until now because they used their skills wisely while playing around without trying anything too difficult although not such simple stuff might easily confuse them since neither group had seen previous Harry Potter movies nor watched recent ones including this series because they thought we all know about everything already so let’s just skip ahead quickly—I’m sorry if I am becoming repetitive here! This film will be completely lost on those who aren’t familiar with Harry Potter. When you watch this movie, you must have seen every Harry Potter film and every fantastic beast that followed after it was released before but then again, that is just me coming from a background of being a big fan for as long as I can remember and some parts of it seem quite bewildering Yes, really.

The Dumbledore-Grindelwald relationship is explored without shying away. It has previously been hinted at that Dumbledore might be gay. There are no sexually suggestive visuals to suggest anything more intimate happening between these characters onscreen but they do openly discuss their passionate affair. Grindelwald went too far with his ex-boyfriend before remaining so closely connected to him still. This conflict is at odds with Jacob and Queenie’s pure love. While he will stop at nothing to get her back, she must hide her true feelings from Grindelwald’s wrath against her; These are the most interesting moments in this movie because they introduce mature and sophisticated themes into the Fantastic Beasts franchise.

The production design, cinematography, and visual effects are stunning. Yates is the director of this seventh Wizarding World film. The action bits where they were dueling with wands have been the best so far. They feel more physical and immediate. This particularly frustrated me about Fantastic Beasts in its first two installments. Stick-like wands would emit beams of neon light. Yates tightens up on the big confrontations. Though it left me wanting more, Dumbledore vs Grindelwald had its moments.

The Secrets of Dumbledore is a vast improvement over The Crimes of Grindelwald. Mads Mikkelsen has cold calculation and controlled fury in this performance. He played Grindelwald more subtly than Johnny Depp did in his interpretation. Rowling and Kloves give depth to the character through drama as well as action scenes which are spellbinding due to too few explanations that could have filled knowledge gaps for readers who failed to read beyond the novels but there may be different levels of bafflement depending on one’s familiarity with Harry Potter tales; fans who know books will find this more useful though.
