Tales of the Walking Dead goes into its penultimate episode on weak ground. The anthology series on the universe of The Walking Dead has not been either good or bad. The first season, made up of six episodes showcased new characters at different times in the zombie apocalypse. The most interesting part that came out so far explains how a known character, Alpha (Samantha Morton), and her daughter Lydia (Scarlett Blum) became Whisperers wearing human skin masks. Unlike other franchises in the same genre, this show manages to avoid many blunders due to foolishness. Still, Tales of the Walking Dead has failed to provide something extraordinary that could make fans ask for its renewal.

The third episode “Dee” allows Samantha Morton to be creepy and menacing once again. This is the first installment without two main characters interacting with each other. Dee is now a little version of Alpha while Lydia hides with her on a riverboat colony. However, she points out that it’s been about a year since normal life changed as we know it today fell apart. She also admits having killed her father while still being a kid and later murdered Lydia’s dad too. Brooke (Lauren Glazier), who is tall and athletic woman from wealth background gathers some survivors together around herself in their relative luxury home atop a riverboat; there they hold fitness classes and dinner parties for friends.” For all alpha knows,” quips Alpha under her breath.

Brooke was stuffy just like those others who didn’t get what was going on in the world anymore; according to Dee however she had nothing 2 prove by reasoning so much over it all hence she only served as janitor on board d boat . Too scared of lengthening an illegitimate relationship between Brooke and Lydia, Dee was worried by such changes taking place within them all. A bartender leads an insurrection from outside proving Dee right in her suspicions about Brooke’s corruption concerning Lydia. They escape using a small boat into the marshes of Louisiana. She and scared girl are smeared with blood to blend in with walkers; this is her way of being invisible from them. Brooke is found alive by Dee after all that destruction but instead of killing her she slices her face as a reminder what she had done. Suddenly, destiny interrupts as Dee is about to kill Lydia who had been sobbing frantically for saving her from worse death. However, they are discovered by Hera (Anne Beyer), the original leader of the Whisperers. Thus, Alpha is born out of Dee and kills the mother before wearing her skin mask.

Episode two “Blair/Gina” serves as most difficult to understand among others. Her small insurance agency just outside Atlanta is managed by Blair (Parker Posey). Selfish and talkative, she mocks Gina (Jillian Bell) who happens to be a silent receptionist. Blair tells her employees that news reports of rabid people are nonsense. She tries to leave town with her “Ken doll” boyfriend.” Blair spots Gina attempting to steal a gas tanker though. The subsequent fight causes an explosion which eventually results in their death.

Blair and Gina couldn’t believe it when they found themselves back at the office ahead of the exploding tank truck . Playing out like Groundhog Day, there’s continuous reliving what took place during the event over and over again on this episode. As for Blair, Gina finally let off some steam towards him.’ Both cooperates adjusting events that occurred as differences between them were settled .The episode concludes with them heading into chaotic Atlanta city where gina hopes they can save some relatives’ lives.. I mean why does this sort of déjà vu story occur within a zombie apocalypse? Maybe it has more meaning than just being a fun one-off; otherwise it would be so dumb if you think about it while looking at its theme

Olivia Munn plays the spiritualist in the new age premiere, “Evie / Joe”, while Terry Crews features as a survivalist. In their journey to Michigan, they help save each other’s lives and ultimately become survival partners. The fourth installment of this series, “Amy/Dr. Everett” is set in an untamed wilderness which had been taken by nature again. Dr. Everett (Anthony Edwards), whose definition of walkers was Homo Mortuus, was interrupted by Amy (Poppy Liu) who ran with one hand missing from her body. She comes to understand that he hates humanity and has no intention of helping her community at all. He warns her that it would be a death sentence if she does not leave now since there is a giant walker herd in the area to protect him from being attacked by any walkers; however, despite his advice, she gets bitten anyway. Just another test specimen to him.

Alpha dies later in time on The Walking Dead than Amy does. While everyone else manages to survive. When season two comes around will we see them again? Maybe we’ll eventually meet them together on a crossover episode or several ones before then also! Why did Blair and Gina run into each other again? They were crucial people necessary for fixing avoidable fatal mistakes but…This adds yet another existential/sci-fi layer that could be fascinating or totally absurd.

Each episode contained minimal production values, action scenes featuring gore, and basically stayed put within the same setting throughout its duration period!. It is evident that the budget here is nowhere near what goes into making flagship episodes look so expensive as hell! The Walking Dead still has eight more episodes left until it calls it quits! Other spinoffs are currently nonexistent; hence Tales of the Walking Dead must step up its game in order to stay relevant…The characters introduced appear more functional for further stories ahead next season…They had good writing and acting – although we only saw them for 40 minutes each, not throughout 16 episodes. We do not yet know if either of these two will have roles in the final two episodes. It would be strange if a second season left them out completely and started over again. Another interesting twist could be to have the same actors play different characters like American Horror Story. How about Blair and Gina always returning as dog groomers?
